Today marks a major milestone in the Cantactix journey. We’re excited to announce that Cantactix has officially been acquired by Crisp, the leading retail data platform supporting over 6,000 CPG brands worldwide. Learn more about Crisp here.
This is a new chapter for Cantactix, but it builds on the same mission that’s guided us from day one: Make Space Management Simple. For over 16 years, we’ve supported retailers and suppliers with the products, services, and automations they need to succeed in category management. Now, with Crisp, we’ll be able to do even more and reach even further.
What does this mean for our clients and partners?
You’ll continue working with the same people you know and trust. Our team, the Cantactites, isn’t going anywhere. We’re still committed to Blue Yonder’s Category Management Suite and to the thoughtful software, services, and support we’ve always provided.
What changes is what’s possible. By combining our expertise in shelf and floor space optimization with Crisp’s powerful retail data platform, we’ll be able to deliver:
- Connected planogram analytics from warehouse to shelf
- Stronger integrations and more professional service
- Expanded tools for field teams and headquarters
- Improved automations and smarter insights
- Accelerated innovation in products like MissionControl and PogCloud
As David Formosa shared, “This partnership will drive more value for our customers and help solidify Cantactix as the go-to solutions integrator in category and space management.”
And from our founder Dan Desmarais:
“Cantactix set out to make Space Management Simple, and while we’ve done a really good job of that, we know there is more to do. Crisp has some great tools and, under the leadership of Are Traasdahl, category and space management solutions will reach new heights and influence in the integrated supply chain.”
What’s next?
We’re hitting the ground running. Over the coming months, our team will begin rolling out new integrations and services designed to give customers a more unified, real-time view of supply chain and shelf performance. And we’ll continue to work closely with our partners, Blue Yonder, 3DVR, and Scalene, to keep delivering best-in-class Category Management.
To our clients, our team, and our community: thank you. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together, and we’re just getting started.
